Only for the book fans.
For someone who never read the book, the jump in timelines is confusing, the characters are too much, the sexuality is annoying after a while and so is the gruesome violence. I wanted to give it a chance but gave up after 4 episodes. If you read the book, you'd probably like it more, as you'll easily follow the timeline.
