Victoria Banales

As a Mexican, I was saddened and offended to see Mexicans portrayed like leeches and savages. There are no redeeming qualities or complexities in the characters, no interesting or intriguing plot--just a bunch of awful 2-dimensonal characters who lacked humanity. As a parody, it just doesn't work. As a dark comedy, it fails. The movie replicated awful stereotypes about Mexican men, women, and transgender people. Don't watch it. It's not worth it.
