14 years passed since this album released and I relate to this work of art more than ever before in 2024. It was literally a revelation that I never knew would come to fruition when I see where I am currently standing now. I think many people gave this album a hard time because it wasn’t like the previous records, but that’s honestly what I like about it the most! You have to experience something that awakens in a new creative direction with any artist! I think Chester really brought a new pitch to he’s vocals, and Mike switched up the typical style of Linkin Park with the whole band on this album. This was a new era of experimental sounds with all of these guys, and I’m still learning something new about it that not only relates to myself…but the whole world in general during these strange times. The MLK (Wisdom, Justice, and Love) does something to me in a spiritual manner as it transitions into Iridescent…chefs kiss!!
It’s a story from start to finish. I think everyone should come back to it and just let it carry out.
It truly is something to embrace.
