At face value, this is a silly kids movie about a rat in a kitchen. But it's so much more than that. In fact, this is the best film Pixar has made and one of the best animated movies of all time. Every character has a purpose and are used beautifully. Every theme is masterfully explored. The animation is stellar as always. The score is absolutely phenomenal. Every time I watch this movie I find something new, whether it be a hidden detail or a piece of symbolism. It's just so good. I do wish that Skinner didn't come back at the end since he had already fulfilled his purpose as an antagonist, but I can let that slide. 10/10.
