The movie is fine, not good but not bad either. Just only ok but still enjoyable to watch. Here's my two explanation of this film why it's just only ok filmed. Good: The special effects looks good and the fighting scene looks great. And I'm glad the film was not a carbon copy of the og anime and made a good plot twist. Diego Tinoco as Nero (Ikki) really nailed his role. Madison Iceman as Athena really fits her character. And Mackenyu Arata as Seiya really fits to played this role. His gorgeous and talented Japanese actor, and i hoping he have more project not only in Japan but also in Hollywood. Bad: The reasons why i give a 3 star because i'm not satisfied with the film because of so many cliffhanger. First I don't like the gender swap story of guraad to being a villain male character to became a antihero woman. And the step mother of Athena. Where's Seiya elder sister? I hope they reveal where she is. And for me this is the biggest problem of the film. The costume is a fine but it could be better if they follow the original costume from anime. For my opinion the cosplayer can make more better costume than Hollywood did. And the color is very awful. The helmet don't look fits on the costume. I hope they use the original soundtrack "pegasus" as a themed. Not using a slow music version.

At first I was skeptic about this film. But I love the story, great acting and the song is very catchy. And I love how they changes the twist that she sacrifice her voice to see the land instead of a guy. And despite of the controversial casting, the actress Halle Bailey really nailed the role of Ariel. She really nailed Ariel's character and her voice really stunning. And even they changes Sebastian & scuttle new looks, the voice actors really nailed how to make them alive I really love how they changes Eric's character. From happy go lucky guy in the og anime, now his more adventurous and curious person just like Ariel. Now Ariel falling in love with Eric because of his personality not the looks.
