I'm baffled this movie is getting 3+ stars, 20 mins in I was told the movie was boring and had to watch the rest by myself. The bad guys are soules, 100% evil in action all except 1 young soldier who refuses rape... the regent is crazy blood thirsty killer, the admiral beat you to death so he can get grain from your village. The main village is cross of Amish and vikings.. no tech space farmers, why? To showcase how simple and good nature these people are? The story of the robot is interesting but left in the dust, the soldier who tries to stop the other soldiers from raping is also left on the planet.. what was the point of these characters? The main character is adopted by young general, why? Because he's crazy and sick minded and wanted to adopt a girl that he killed her entire family? We go on this long journey to collect a party of warriors just so they can have about 5 mins of story each in 2hr+ movie... A general, prince, swordmaster assassin and rebel leader; give me a break these characters are easily forgotten. They could have saved a lot of time starting the story with main character origin story, her lover is killed on the planet they are pacifying. Military coup happens, guess by who.. step dad. The robots set down there arms and the insurgents on their last legged are saved. Main character in grief, rage, and realization of evil she contributed to, now wants to save the war torn world mostly inhabited by farmers.. her and couple of military friends and a robot breaks out captured local badasses and they start their rebellion to try to liberate the planet. Kept the betrayal, expanded on the relationship of the characters, beat the admiral end the movie with larger fleet on the way lead by regent. Bam! Give me edit of the movie and movie deal please.
