I loved everything about this band when they first came out with Star Booty on the long gone What Goes On records. It sounds like it was recorded in a basement with one mic but it only adds to the lowkey aggression coupled with a layered melancholy to their the sound . This record is so great . The other two are good but the first is my favourite. New listeners may be put off by the recording quality but give it time .
