For me personally, before Dota 2, I have tried Dota 1, and I loved the game statistics and its complexity so much since I was like 10 years old. I had to go to internet cafes to play the game with my friends or sometimes alone. So, basically, Dota 2 is an upgraded, advanced, and better graphic quality of Dota 1. The developer of this game belongs to the Valve Corporation. Dota means Defense of the Ancient. Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game in which two teams of five players compete to destroy a large structure defended by the opposing team known as the "Ancient" whilst defending their own. It also gives us different genres like Entertainment, Narrative, Speculative fiction, Action role-playing game, Fantasy and Societal. It also needs Strategy, communication, teamwork, and reaction time all essential. I have never thought I still be playing this game till today. The monthly updates of the game have been attracting me to keep on playing on. I have played this game for almost 10 years now. I enjoyed playing it alone, but it is better if I play with my friends together. Some might say that the community of the Dota 2 is toxic but the trash talking part is like one of the funny and exciting experience that I achieved from the game. Everybody trash talks to each other like every single game. Honestly though, contrary to popular opinion DotA is a very fun game. It is just not a fun game for stupid people or people that are not willing to take some time to learn the game. This game will not spoon-feed you on how to play, nor will it easily allow you to catch up if you make mistakes. Like in the real world if you make mistakes in battle you will suffer. A few tips to anybody reading this is that keep on having positive mental attitude to have fun. Learn from mistakes and avoid becoming toxic player. Even though I said trash talking is a fun part, it is better if you become a positive player than a trash one. Another thing about that I love about this game it that, it has like new modes to play and keep the players to keep on playing this game. I really like the Ability Draft mode than other modes. It’s fun to play, it’s like we get to choose the heroes and use the abilities of other heroes to fight over and win the game. Dota keeps evolving in their own ways, like creating new patches, updates, new heroes, and items too. Dota 2 is not just a game. It also held world tournaments yearly for the players who choose this game as their profession. Valve make yearly tournaments for the professional players call “The International”. It all started with the prize pool of 1.6 million USD to over 40 million USD now. This means that the game is evolving and earning more and more to make these high prize tournaments for the professional games. So, these this is like another entertainment for the players like us to watch and have fun with friends. Even though I cannot afford to travel to the countries that held these tournaments, I always spend my time watching from live streams together with my friends. Finally, I just want to say is that Dota 2 is one of the best online game I have ever played and you guys really should try it. Good luck, have fun guys.
