Utterly superb. Slow in parts but this is about the gradual destruction of a man through mental/emotional attrition and he's rebirth as one of the greatest villians of all time. Highly recommend. Joaquin Phoenix deserves any award talk he receives; one can only hope we see him again as the Clown Prince of Crime!
