The movie was....Okay. It wasn’t a bad movie, all I have to say is it was very underwhelming for someone like myself who is a giant Child’s Play fan and has seen every movie thats ever been made (including the solo chucky movies on Netflix). The fact that there is no mention of deranged serial killer, Charles Lee Ray at any point, at all!!, let me know right away that this movie would feel very incomplete to me. With the first movies that was a major part of the creep factor for chucky. A child’s toy possessed by the spirit of a psychotic serial killer. This new A.I. re-imagining, I mean naw, at some points it had me feeling bad for chucky...what? lol because I understood that this was an innocent toy with a robotic malfunction. It just wasn’t as scary and evil. So it was okay.
