I was disappointed. I agree it wasn't funny, and I also started falling asleep at some point before the middle. There didn't seem to be any energy, any chemistry, any movement, any climax, any point really. I was hoping for laffs because Julia is very funny, but not even she was funny. Something was wrong with the humor in the way it seemed to fall dead on the floor--I knew where the jokes were, I just didn't think they were funny. Great acting from Julia and the kid. I especially did not like the 2 male actors here (not the kid, he was fine).
