I was very young when I say the film but the emotional impact was so memorable to me and I saw it many times before I began my work in film. Amazing cast, director and cinematographer. A courageous film and Michael Roemer whose family fled the Nazis in Germany created a masterpiece. I love the entire cast. Every performance.
