Really can't figure out why all the 5 star reviews. The only redeeming value is Mads Mikkelsen. Brilliant as always. Otherwise the stories are so ridiculously over the top. How many completely contrived crime scenes can one show dig up. And the whole idea of the star "seeing" all the crimes happening in his head is laughable at best.

Terrible! Unrealistic, unbelievable, laughable, predictable. Cast cannot save the abysmal script.

Still the greatest sci-fi movie ever made. The fact that it was released in 1969 is absolutely amazing. Incredible foresight. If you are looking for action packed, skip it. This is NOT Star Wars. It is a cerebral MASTERPIECE. Kubrick was a genius. Arthur C Clarke was a sci-fi writer and scientist and his work on the screenplay was paramount to the films science authenticity.
