I have just watched your report on the dead gannets found on Druridge Bay and I did what was recommended and contacted Defra. Sadly the girl I spoke to said they were only interested in the number of birds found and they would not be collecting them. She suggested that I could pick the birds up and put them in a bin bag and leave them somewhere for collection. Not the response I was expecting.
