I’m not versed on any military inconsistencies, I just thought this was a poorly written script. I’m surprised at how many people loved it. Something didn’t match up… but I can’t put my finger on it… like the storyline of the criminal act intertwined with the recall.. didn’t click.. but sometimes what you read on the page don’t translate for everyone…. Ugh give it a chance, you might like it… or, do as I did and roll your eyes at the ending
