Screenlaly is top notch and there's no doubt about it. There are good reasons for me to believe why it's not just an entertainer but a political saltire on the caste based reservations. If we come to the society at large, the intolerance towards these reservations is nothing new just like the intolerance towards the lower castes. It's so unfortunate to hear the words "kulam thakkuva etc" from the character that obviously etched and brought to life on big screen by the filmmakers. And there's no remorse for the words said but the only guilt for the death of the dear friend. No attempts were made to withdraw those words in the entire flick. Now, I'd come to the reservation part. Also, it's a notion that upper caste economically backward section doesn't have reservation. May be the director isn't aware of EWS--economically weaker section. I know more than a dozen friends from upper caste who happened to crack seats in medical and engineering in top govt universities. So, please don't spit venom on "PROTECTED STATUS." It is subtly an attack on the Article 46 of the Indian Comstitution. I know that no one would pay much attention to it, thanks to the director. The way he weaved this extremely sensitive topic with so called nostalgic elements and some b grade scenes and dialogues is just fab. And there are also movies that are sensible enough whwn they touch the sentive topics...go watch Aamir Khan son's "MAHARAJ" streaming on OTT. Jai Bheem!

A mediocre age old story with a pinch of violence. It’s all about the neglected kid of a well to do family. In which way audience would connect to the story is definitely a question that only filmmakers and actors gotta ask themselves. It was tough to watch nothing brilliant for a couple of hours. If you’re lucky you wouldn’t get headache but it’s surely going to take sometime to come out of it. At times we’d get dreams that have no logic, head or tail. I’d be glad if this experience was just a dream for I don’t have to lose a couple of bucks and precious time!

I am happy for the money I spent on the ticket. My mother and wife also liked the movie, who usually don't like the routine movies. The screenplay, good story, perfectly etched characters are enough to make this movie enjoy the limelight. Balakrishna must be appreciated for his performance. The movie starts off with an amazing song and it takes us into the plot. The dialogue hailing temple priests are to be appreciated. People who feel uncomfortable with those lines are surely going to feel the movie TIRESOME. I feel they are the ones giving negative reviews. I am no one's fan and I like the movie to the core..I repeat, to the core. A perfect family movie.

COVID lockdown was much bigger with multiple issues surfacing at the same time. Director just concentrated on how a person/ few people revolted for food. It looked like director subtly wanted to convey something else in the guise of COVID thingy but definitely COVID was a bigger concept than what director portrayed. COVID is actually a lesson to everyone, buddy people disowned their own parents, their kin and kith…it’s not about just the governance…people voluntarily cut ties with each other in the name of COVID…scores of them struggled for oxygen cylinders, burial grounds were beelined… All these things weren’t shown in the movie anywhere…I was little disappointed.

Firstly, Prabhas is an outstanding method actor. Right from his first flick to the recent one, his acting skills are well acknowledged not just in TFI but even in Bollywood. I don't understand as to how Prabhas accepted this movie. Director has to be blamed here for increasing the budget without any content. Good storylines are important and not mere budgets... Unfortunately, the storyline of Saaho is bleak. Barely a year ago, a movie came with a similar concept. Agreed that the visuals are good but who cares when you don't understand as to what's happening. And by the way, I never knew that Hollywood flicks have duets. They should have revised the movie after watching it before the release. End of the day, it's hard earned money of the public too..shelling out 200 bucks to witness back to back mindless action scenes that leave you clueless about screenplay is gruesome...I went to movie not to find faults..but to enjoy like I enjoyed Baahubali... after recovering with the help of strong dose of caffeine...coffee+redbull+dart tablet.. I managed to write these lines...
