The Prison Doctor had me tearing up by the second chapter. Dr Brown, alongside Kelly, gives a beautifully written insight into an area most people don't even think about. These sometimes harrowing, but sometimes heartwarming, accounts of the day-to-day life of a doctor working within a prison will completely latch onto your morbid curiosty, as well as tug at your heartstrings, making this truly a book that you will not be able to put down.
