I just literally crawled out of bed to return reading this book ! Published in 1947, author, Leconte du Nouy states that the "purpose of this book is to examine critically the scientific capital accumulated by man, and to derive there-from logical and rational consequences". The author says that this book is "meant for all ...who believe in the reality of human dignity and of man's mission in the universe, and for those who do not believe in it yet, but who are anxious to be convinced." He talks about the cosmic order and transcending individual interest for the good of ALL. I, personally am SO grateful I came across this book before it was banned (I think it not banned yet anyway); and with the timing being the night before 'the ruling on America's insurrection.
