Disney turned one of my favorite films into a CW series, and while it was okay, they played on too many angsty tropes for it to be as compelling a fantasy series as I hoped. And, like CW shows, they threw in pop/rock music, completely ruining the idea of this story taking place on another world. I am a particular fan of the original James Horner score, and would like to have heard more of that throughout.

Yes, it was SUPER FUN and SUPER SILLY, but beyond that, it was surprisingly forgettable and lacking the substance I usually find in a Taika Waititi film.
