This show is very true to the book which was excellent. The people with the terrible reviews are trying to push their agenda on this show that is well made and story that is very compelling.
Read the book and watch this show! It is such an interesting story, which was told before the current climate in this country but now is more topical than ever. Ignore the 1 - star reviews by the "anti-woke" people who get their feelings hurt so easily.
