This series was overly-stylized and thin on substance. Fifties-style fonts, and overbearing creepy music didn’t fit or add to the effect, but just seemed to to be a stab at empty artsy-fartsy ness. The pace was excruciatingly slow. Half the scenes seemed like filler. The only bright spot was the acting of Stephan James and Spacek. I was excited to watch It but soon realized it was boring.
