This movie doesn't work as a stand alone random action movie and it absolutely doesn't work in the POTC universe. Every story line established in the previous movies have been flushed down the toilet. The compass that Jack got from Calypso the godess is apparently forgotten and was now handed by some random pirate captain. Literally no connection of anything and useless extra plot points added. You will watch it because you liked the previous ones, but you will see how all the OG actors are literally bored and sleeping through the movie .

This was such a pleasure to watch. No running around, extra things nothing. Just one box and two groups of people and an intense storyline carried out just by conversation. Not even a flashback or any action and this managed to keep you hooked.

Who is this movie for exactly?? There are so many gaps and just the whole storyline seems all over the place. Lazy writing and anything is happening with no rhyme or reason. And yes it's a bad rip off of Enchanted
