Power Book III could have been great but Curtis Jackson had to make the show into a family show. Don't get me wrong, 50 cent is a great black mind who has co successfully made some crazy black series but he doesn't let the character of young Kanan grown on the audience with his overbearing voice trying to Kanan-xplain every scene in the movie. Like dude bounce already, you died! Mekai Curtis his son does a way below par job on what I might call a poorly written script for him, at some point he's just plain old boring and you almost confuse the movie to be titled Power Book III: Raquel and the Thomas's. As always, Power series still has one of the best musical scores on any show. To wrap things up, the show is loosely about Kanan himself and more about the family unit as a whole, there's a lot of deaths but none that really affects any major character, for the first time the sex scenes are censored. Personally I hate to rip shows apart, Kung Fu is another of the many failures from The CW collection. The plot development lacks any attraction or intrigue, it's almost like you just want to see it through. The fight sequence seem fair but there's an overly emphasis on the lead actress being so great after just 3years at a shaolin temple. A very poor musical score, with a very rich cast there's still so much zero synchronization; the characters just don't entice you. The movie seems to be moving fast paced and also it's a “Woman can do it all” sorta series makes it a complete bore to watch
