I honestly don’t know how this movie has so many bad reviews. I never ever rate or review anything. But this movie was absolutely phenomenal I just had to. I’m absolutely ecstatic about this. I originally was looking for the movie finch sci-fi movie with Tom hanks and this happened to be suggested. And omgI haven’t genuinely laughed at a movie or felt so strongly in years since I was a literal child and I’m in my 20s. This movie has so much emotion and humor but serious in the right moments. I’ll admit the beginning was super slow and I had almost wanted to turn it off. But once she was paired in with smith it was a blast. And the ending made me cry twice. Like double whammy. Admittedly i probably would’ve bawled my eyes out if it wasn’t for the fact I was eating dinner. This movie will always have a place in my heart now. And has become a major comfort movie. It was super relatable in the sense of trauma and trusting others for me. Also I’m not even much of a sci-fi fan honestly. This was like Detroit become human had a baby and it’s one of my favorite video game series. So if you live that series you will love this. Please give it a watch. It’s so worth it despite it being slow at first. Rewards come to those who wait.
