On a whim, I clicked on an episode of this show - I've seen about four seasons now. It's really an outstanding, fine program: The camera work, the stories, the locations/settings (I can't believe the extent to which they scouted out locations that accurately depict the locations of the survival stories), and the acting - I'm really amazed at how well-acted it is. Every episode is like a really well-done short Hollywood film or something. And the stories - super extraordinary and inspiring. I'm really surprised that this show isn't more famous or well-known - I'd never even heard about it. My only complaint is that almost every episode is about the story of cisgender white people/a cisgender white person. Like, where are the survival stories of, esp., people of color??? That's my only complaint.
