I own all 3 Seasons of the original Star Trek, all 7 Seasons of STNG, all of the movies of both casts, and all of thr Chris Pine Star Trek movies. LOVE them all. I had great hopes for Star Trek Picard being as big a fan as I am... But I am disappointed. It simply doesn't feel themed to the Star Treks I have loved and cherished. I could go into detail but, quite honestly, I think it's best to say, it just missed too many marks and didn't endear itself to me enough to become a permanent addition to my collection. Going to skip watching Season 3 and going to give away Seasons 1 & 2. It was a great idea but, well, it just didn't do it for me.
