There are a couple of good stories in here, but there's nothing special about the dry retelling of these stories. There are also racist, sexist themes that don't evolve which I thought you could attribute to the age of the book, until I saw it was first published in 2004. The font is large, the narrative is boring, and the stories are forgettable. I'm sorry to say, a google search for local stories is more interesting.
