I was so grateful to find this very high quality production. I am always looking for deeply complex and rich characters with real story lines. This show has all of that and more. It's more like reading a book than watching a film, even though I haven't read the books. I watched the bonus segment for Season 5 and the way that Douglas Henshaw describes what attracted him to the character and script is exactly what is presented. I think what I noticed, just after the beautiful scenery was the deliberate slower pace of the action. That is what I really appreciate about the series; it gives time and space to savor the characters as they evolve and slowly reveal their stories. The actors are superb. This is art at it's finest!
