I usually read some of the 5 star and 1 star reviews before I see a movie. I had read the book and was very curious about the movie . The length seemed a big factor for the haters and non for the lovers of the movie. It was pretty obvious the 1 star reviews were mostly from people expecting some kind of fast moving fiction or those having issues with real history and calling it " woke" The 3 hour 25 minutes were absolutely no issue for me and my husband as the time was spent getting to know the real characters of the people.
