This is not a replacement for DSOTM. it is totally different with a darker and more contemplative feel and much more in keeping with Roger Waters solo stuff than Pink Floyd (except Final Cut, which is very Waters anyway). It’s definitely a sit down and listen to all of it, preferably at night, in the dark with a good single malt and no distractions. Gorgeous LP bill fold and the sound production and recording are excellent. Lovely bass as you’d expect from a bassist. I certainly enjoyed it as a complete work.
