Just got home from watching the movie, and honestly, I would go see it again. It was really enjoyable; it had its fair share of action, comedy, and heart-felt moments. Some parts were a little cheesy, but that’s to be expected from a kid’s movie. I think it was a beautiful thing when the creators of the movie actually listened to fans and changed sonic’s design, which without the change, would have lessened the emotional impact of some of Sonic’s scenes dealing with his loneliness and his ‘bucket list’. And of course, Jim Carrey was obviously amazing as Dr.Robotnik. I was lucky enough to go see the movie in a theater full of hardcore Sonic fans, so there was a lot of cheering and made the experience that much better, especially at the special surprise at the end of the credits; people were screaming at that, it was great. I would highly recommend seeing this movie if you are a Sonic fan yourself, have kids, or just want to go see an enjoyable movie fit for anyone to enjoy.
