As usual the Americans love making the British look weak. I have no idea why. The first scene involving British pilots portrayed them as weak and naïve, these British pilots would of already been in the war for the best part of 4 years before the Americans helped. Basically more American tripe that portrays everyone else as weak and inferior. Reminds me of the Americans making a film about capturing the enigma machine when in fact it was actually the British.
