‘I always wanted to be a dad’, Robert Nurden. This is a subject that I had never thought about. You either had children or you didn’t! The book powerfully explores the grief of childlessness, beautifully, and sensitively told. It is raw and achingly honest. The throwaway comment and the thoughtless word in many situations, have brought up other issues for me and has made me reflect on them. This is a ‘must read’ book for everyone. Ann Slater
