I rarely cry when I watch movies and Batman vs Superman : Dawn of Justice is one of those rare moments. You immediately understand that it's a Snyder movie when you notice the slomos, the attention to the tiniest moments. Starting from the mugging young Bruce Wayne and Murdering his parents to Superman begging Bruce to save his mom whose name also happens to be Martha. This film, as critics said, might lack the expected amount of action but it's definitely a high speed emotional rollercoaster. And that was what Snyder focused on, he delved deep into the psyche of the characters... showed that they are not that different. And Diana's entry as Wonder Woman to fight Lex Luthor's Toy got to be the most iconic scene of the movie. The most emotional moments were definitely Bruce's past, Superman's bond with Lois and Martha, Batman rescuing Martha, Superman rescuing Lois from underwater and going after the spear (man that level of understanding! he somehow knew what Lois was doing underwater in the first place), and Superman's death and funeral. Man! I just gave a whole bunch of major spoilers to tell why this one is an underrated masterpiece. I don't know if Snyder was upset as to why this movie has negative reviews but he definitely feels proud of himself that some people got the message loud and clear. This ain't a simple film, it has a deeper and darker core, not so easy to understand. This is literally the best Snyderverse film, I feel so.
