A lot of people are hating on It Wasn't Me for it's "stereotypical" character types, when in reality, it these stereotypes that bring life to each of these characters, fleshing them out wonderfully for us to sympathize with and help give us a background to solve this mystery. If anything, the one over-stereotypical character in this book is it's antagonist, Mrs. Davis, who's so hateable it's sort of mean - but also makes it more fun for us to see her be constantly annoyed and foiled.
