I wish AAA franchises like Dragon Age & AAA companies behind them put in more effort. Dragon Age origins & it’s follow up ‘Inquisition’ were some of my favorite games (as was the Mass Effect series). However, lately things have plummeted. Veilguard is like Andromeda - both very off-base with lackluster stories, very little choice in persona (nice, less nice, or least nice dialogue options), terrible animations (especially facial expressions), and a script that seems like it was written for preschoolers as if Rook is the only adult talking down to everyone & afraid to offend anyone. This game had potential but threw it away, if only they focused on making gamers & fans happy they would have better profit than catering to political messaging that leads to less consumer satisfaction & less profit for the company. 0/10 rating, do not recommend.
