This book annoyed me. I think the author, in an attempt to make the tale interesting used individually presented chapters for different characters. Why?? As presented, a reader has to constantly revert back to where each character left off to tie the narrative together. I found this task tedious resulting finally in a story that was way too contrived, sometimes predictable, sometimes over written and sometimes far-fetched. I was intrigued to continue reading while at the same time I felt manipulated by the story devices.
