Over-rated and over-hyped movie that was not as ground-breaking nor as deep as most critics claimed it to be when it was released. B. Cooper is fine and most of cast is decent but the Oscars got it wrong again by awarding J. Law for a forgettable performance! Overall not a horrible train-wreck but definitely not worthy of the accolades it garnered!

A movie that thinks it's "clever" concept can cover for poor writing and under-developed plot. Also, none of the characters have any redeeming qualities or display any relatability that make up for their one-note personas. Check out Host on Shudder for a much better execution of the ideas that fall flat here!

Not surprised this poorly written and directed film was executive produced by Eli Roth as his crappy influence is all over is film that thinks gross torture and gore substitutes for actual scares! So disappointed with all the positive reviews for this turd of a picture!
