Just stunningly bad. Where to begin? Luther escaping prison reminded me of a lame video game. Andy Serkis' villain is absurd. The entire plot is absurd. Maybe the most badly absurd movie plot I've ever seen. Truly unbelievably bad. I watched til the end, because I couldn't believe how dumb it all was and thought maybe it was some kind of a joke. And I actually kinda like the series! It isn't great but decent. Alba is a good actor and Luther is an interesting character. So needless to say I'm disappointed .
