The Passion of Christ depicts the passion, the love and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, for us, God’s children, through His “unspeakable” suffering and death at the hands of the Pharisees and Romans of His time on earth. First time I watched it, I was in tears through half of it. This movie seemed to bring silent believers out of the woodwork at the time. I think it might be time for someone to match Gibson’s attempt to awaken the faith, hope and love of the people of the world, through the big screen.
