First I have to say this: Dr. Saanvi Bahl - played by Parveen Kaur - She just ran around in hysterics all the time, incoherently rambling on about nothing that helped the story line or show. Worst character in any movie, series, or any drama. Bad acting, bad lines, made no sense; developed in a gay character, kiss was unnecessary between the Dr. and her lover. Made no sense other than the writers/director of the show were gay themselves, so they had to introduce a gay character. Oh, her science, made no sense. I really hated the show because of her rambling and lack of common sense. Why did she apologize when the Major died? I don't understand the emotions for Major, when she was such a terrible person. Major died in the middle of the city on a sidewalk, the morgue and police could not identify her body, when her daughter came looking for her?
This show based its premise from Showtime series Homeland, here are the similarities: Nicholas Brody, assumed dead, returns after many years from being in prison. He disrupts his family life, his wife/Jessica Brody, has moved on with her life. And throughout the show blames her husband for disrupting her life, as if it was his fault for being taken a prisoner. His wife has moved on, also, with a new love. Also, Brody's teenage daughter is suffering from depression, and can't cope with life. Jessica, is overly emotional, and makes no sense for blaming Brody, her husband, for the safety of her children, and wishes he never returned. Sounds familiar?
The writers have no clue where to take the plot, and no clue on how to explain what was the mystery behind the disappearance of the plane. So, the plot is all over the place, boring, poorly written, episode after episode the scenes are the same, same dialog (BORING!!). Very disappointed!
Ben's wife is really annoying, and her emotions and harsh words towards her husband are not justified. As if it was Ben't fault for what happened to
the airplane. She should be more positive that 5 years have gone by that gave her son a chance to live, survive cancer; and have the hope after he returned that there are advancement in medicine to hopefully find her son a cure from cancer. Sadly, when a loved one dies, we always say we are willing to do anything to just to have them return for just one day to hug them, and tell them how much we love them. . But, no, Ben's wife is hysterical, and throws him out of the house.
I think the writers disappeared for 5 years, and just returned, brain dead, and clueless on how to write a strong script.
