I’m leaving this review as it’s the 2nd time I’ve watched this film. Most consider this a teen edgy Wayne, but the film followed the comic depiction, which keep in mind follows a juvenile Batman, so he isn’t perfectly skilled in everything (hence his instance of fearing heights.) Its a heavier and darker Batman, before he becomes who he is commonly known as. The cinematography is exquisite. I loved all the riddles and mystery surrounding the riddlers grand scheme, nothing felt rushed. Perfect casting, Paul Dano did a great riddler. The fact that he looks like your average bystander, yet is completely insane is the best part. He’s creepy! Pattinson makes a great Batman with a voice that isn’t too forced.
