I have now read all 20 books in the series. I have to admit that I stumbled across the first book quite by accident. As I was reading it, I wasn’t sure I would want to go forward with the whole series as I had never really been interested in reading stories about history. By the time I finished that first book I was hooked on the characters. With each book I read, I couldn’t wait to get to the next one. I was very impressed by the amount of research the author must have done on each of the major historical events. I would look up that individual event on the Internet and see that it happened just as it has been written in the book. Now that I have finished all 20 books, I cannot wait for the next book to come out, as I feel like I personally know all of the characters in these books, and love them dearly. I will be hard pressed to find books of this quality to read until this author’s next books in this series come out. Thank you so much, Ginny Dye, for such a wonderful series!
