I went into this movie, already deciding I wasn't going to like it. How could they ever replace the original Disney classic that I watched with my children and loved so well? I was so wrong. Sure, there are parts that were certainly different that I thought should have been tweaked a bit to be better ( in my opinion ) but those were few and far between. Overall, Disney did an excellent job in this remake and once having seen Will Smith as the Genie of the Lamp, I am overall a fan of that decision. I think he added his own special flair to the role. It has the same magical feeling as the original. It's is certainly a new classic remake to add to your collection when it comes out on Blu-ray! Just go see it!
