It's boring. It's extremely unintentionally creepy (featuring multiple underage sex scenes). It's extremely poorly written. There is no reason to read this book, unless you are a glutton for punishment. Do not read this book.

This is a really good way to test the waters and see if D&D is something you like without dropping $50+ on a Player's Handbook and various accessories. It comes with a basic pamphlet of rules, pre-made characters, a set of dice, and a short adventure. This set has everything you need to get into D&D. If you're someone who has always wanted to try it, but never got around to learning, or was intimidated by the complexity, I would highly recommend this set.
