Went to see If with my son yesterday. It was a cute premise and we loved the preview. The movie itself, however, was rather disappointing. First of all, it starts with the standard “kill off the mom” trope. Secondly, grown men breaking into and hiding under a child’s bed, imaginary or not, really isn’t funny. This was all in the first 15 minutes. And the “plot twist” was one that could be seen from miles away. Ugh. Basically the whole script was clearly written by a man and needed a complete rewrite. Two thumbs down from me and my kid.

Refreshingly different. We loved it.

Wanted to love this, but they really have to stop trying to adapt British tv to American. Didn’t smile even once watching the first episode. Laughed every minute of Miranda episode one, which I saw after Call Me Kat.
