Ugh! I tried to hang in there but gave up halfway through episode 3. Why I even went that far I'm not sure; probably hoping it would get better I suppose. It's about as unrealistic, exaggerated, and and overly emotive as they come. I doubt they were shooting for parody, but that's how it comes off. Would play better as a comic book. If you live in a fantasy world, or lean towards conspiracy theory, then maybe this is for you. Even then, I'm not so sure.

Well, I tried, I really did. I watched for about 30 minutes and then switched shows. It just didn't grab me like a mystery series should. The guy that plays Cross was very likeable and believable, but all the others weren't. Why did they feel it necessary to weave racism and DEI into the narrative? And not just "weave" it, but throw it in our faces. To be realistic? Not necessary, we get enough of this in our daily lives. We get it. We don't been to be bombarded with it when we're trying to relax and escape into an entertaining show at night.

Whether you’re a fan of the book and numerous spin-offs, or not, this version is a fun and exciting watch. The acting is superb and the storyline is both fascinating and interesting. It holds your attention and keeps you wondering. We watched the first 5 episodes in one night! Now we’re looking forward to the release of the remaining episodes to see how everything plays out.

If nothing else really important to do, this series fills the space nicely. It moves along fine, keeps you guessing, and continually instills the comfort of not being associated with this class of people. Much better being on the outside looking in. The story is mostly believable and the ending, while not exactly a huge surprise, does make some sense. Certainly not a wasted or boring 5 hours or such. The acting is superb from Schreiber, Kidman, Fanning and the others, but especially from the beautiful Eve Hewson. Her facial expressions alone say everything. Plus there’s the presence of 69 year old Isabel Adjani who, even heavily made up, looks great and acts with typical French snarkiness.

I'm a huge sports fan, have been for most of my life (70's). This may sound incongruent, but I've never even heard of Pat McAfee. Till now. I don't watch any of the "talking heads" shows, it's just blabbering after blabbering. I don't really have the time; I do read the news, though. And what I do know and respect is integrity, and saying "Rodgers will never be on the show again", and then having Rodgers on the show what, a day or so later, is pure hypocrisy. I despise hypocritic people. Aaron Rodgers, as a human being, is a class A, industrial sized, narcissistic wacko. As a football player he's destroying his legacy in order to feed his ego and enrich his pockets. No respect for his Favre like behavior. One "comeback" play to a ridiculous amount of fanfare, and you're seriously injured? Have some dignity Rodgers and pack it in. I can hear his previous, what, 50 girlfriends laughing hysterically and saying "I told you so!"
