Wow!! I was immediately drawn into this book. Yes it's a novel. But I fact checked events, people, places at first until I realised the historical accuracy . A fascinating account of life, customs, etiquette of the 2nd century. Hadrian was an influential leader, flawed as any man is ...this is easily one of my favourite reads.

I love everything Myles does. This 3rd solo album is far heavier, with powerful songs, brilliant guitar from Myles, exquisite vocals, showing his vulnerability and terrific all round musicianship from the trio. It's everything you expect from Myles and more. An excellent, oh so playable feast for your ears.

Quite simply...brilliant. As a 17 year old biker, this, along with Steve Miller 'Fly like an eagle', was the soundtrack of that awesome, exciting period of my life. How I long for 1979 again !!!

This album is still excellent. I loved it in 2001 and still love it now. What more can I say!! A keeper for me, everytime I condense my music collection.
