⭐⭐⭐ 1/2 wasn't buying the crew of twenty somethings manning a multi billion dollar ship or their wimpy android.. however there were references to the other Alien movies.. Alien and Prometheus and even Aliens even though technically aliens hasn't happened yet. This is actually supposed to take place after the movie Alien with sigourney Weaver after she blew up the Nostromo.. but before Aliens.. but they do speak about the colony. I like it less than Prometheus and Alien.. special effects were excellent though..

I don't know what the big deal is about this movie.. I like Tom Hardy so I really wanted to like this movie.. I found it slow.. I found the dialogue a little weak.. Austin Butler strutting around through the whole movie like he's James Dean just shooting looks here and there but not saying too much.. I mean he did a good job and so did Hardy and the rest of the cast.. I felt like there was something missing though keeping it from being a really great film or even a very good film.. I found it okay.. Not this masterpiece that everybody's making it out to be.. I felt like Hardy was trying to be Marlon Brando in the wild ones even trying to sound like Brando.. there was a girl that played Butlers love interest.. to me she stold the show.. I felt like there was something missing to really grab the audience.. I've been seeing a lot of movies like that lately.. something with great potential winding up being just okay . Maybe it's just me.. maybe I just expected a different kind of film

I like the movie.. is one of the few movies me and my girlfriend went to where we just kind of looked at each other like this is pretty good.. I really didn't think it was bad at all I wish they had moved forward 300 years because I would have loved to pick up with Cornelius to see what he was doing and his part.. I would have liked to have heard something about him in this movie. Whatever role he played in the future of the apes after Caesar died.. but all in all light still liked it.. I thought the ending was excellent

Watching it on peacock right now.. Besides the truth the movies got nothing going for it.. actors with no charisma.. and it drags at a snail's pace.. it's almost like I don't even care how it ends because we pretty much know what the ending is anyway.. but this movie is proven to take as long as the real life event.. I mean I'm halfway through it and it feels like years.. we all know about Mr Weinstein.. we all know what all those actresses said.. but this movie is torture to watch.. The real deal as it was happening was far more interesting than this movie. Terrible

Disappointed all together with the movie. It was way too long and as far as Bond movies go boring and slow beyond words..The villain was pretty one dimensional.. Bonds love interest looked thirty years younger than he and more like she should have been playing his daughter..Q was typical Q but then again he wasn't dishing out the cool weaponry like usual..M was being a jerk but Im still not clear on why .The ending was so disappointing and unnecessary even if it was Craig's last appearance.. Probably in my bottom three Bond movies ever even though Craig is my runner up to Sir Sean Connery as far as Bonds go..It made over 700 million in the Box office but I believe that had more to do with people wanting to see Craig play Bond one last time than the anticipation of the long awaited movie..I gave it three stars for my like for Daniele Craig..The movie for me was a two though
