Basham misrepresents many of her sources to suit her highly partisan agenda. Just spend a little time —as I did — reading or checking her endnotes and Basham’s misrepresentations are readily visible. As others have noted, if these were mistakes, it would be bad enough but they appear to be intentional. The supposed funding she sees coming into Evangelical pastors’s pockets and coffers isn’t coming from George Soros, et al. It’s coming from the Populist Right. This book is an extended and hardly credible extended opinion piece, no more.
